Gallery of Piano Art

Welcome to Encore! Old Pianos with a New Song! Feel free to browse the gallery, and be sure to check out the blog, where you’ll find histories of various piano manufacturers, insider stories about how some of these piano art pieces were made, curated articles from my fellow bloggers, and more. I’m in the process of making my artwork available for purchase directly from this website. But in the meantime, please visit my Etsy shop or contact me directly if you live in the vicinity of Pensacola, FL. And if you like the content here, as well as the piano art I produce from discarded pianos, please consider making a donation to keep me working. Thank you for stopping by!

New in 2022!

Current Inventory

“Middle C” is back! And so is “Piano Duet.” These are hard to keep in stock, but I got busy and made eight more “Middle Cs” and four more “Piano Duets.” They are available in my Etsy shop. A simple click on the name of the one you want will take you there. For a customized “Middle C,” click here.

Out of Stock

These items are gone for now, but I could make another one for you upon request.

Sold Out!

“Maestro,” the Tiger Oak Clock made from my first piano, has found its forever home. I was almost sad to see it go… but not sad enough to package it lovingly and turn it over to a couple who fell in love with it at first sight. Will I ever make another one? Perhaps. But it won’t look the same. After 25 pianos, I’ve never seen another one quite as beautiful as the 1906 Lyon & Healy that gave me these pieces.

“Smile,” the mirrored coat rack I made from the rest of that music shelf, sold in 2017. I do have plans to make more coat racks from other music shelves; yet while their assembly and function will be similar, they will each be unique in appearance.

Thank you very much! Paint supplies cost a lot of money, but your generous contribution will keep this artist from starving. More importantly, you’ll be helping me follow my passion to keep beautiful broken pianos out of the landfill.

Thank you very much! At this time I am investing in a fully-equipped workshop so I can do all my work in one place, which should substantially increase productivity. Your monthly contribution, which could go a long way toward helping me to that end, is greatly appreciated.
